Sorting by date[edit]

heads of state[edit]

Is it a mistake to say the "2002 South American Summit, Guyaquil" was in 2004?[edit]

Origin of the term[edit]

I'm looking for more detail on the origin of the term. It is not clear from the current article why the media chose this particular word to describe the cold war meetings.

I found some references to a speech by Winston Churchill containing the quote "parlay at the summit", can anyone knowledgeable comment or expand te article?
