Placed Lakota in the Former schools, they left the SLL, replaced by Rossford Bulldogs. Map picture needs changing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.244.156.238 (talk) 02:04, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • That was never made official, so until we know for certain, we can't show false information. Frank12 (talk) 02:21, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Maps and the sort[edit]

I'm planning on creating a map that would show the all-time members for the league and (if the league survives after 5 of the 7 decided to leave), I'll create another to show the current membership. It appears that when Elmwood and Gibsonburg are the only 2 left in 2011, that may be the league's end. Frank12 (talk) 02:21, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why the 12-team format didn't work[edit]

I see that someone has put on this page and on the Northern Buckeye Conference's page that the reason the 12-team league didn't work out was because Eastwood and Genoa's superintendents didn't want Fostoria in their league. This contradicts a lot of what I've heard. I never saw any official documents stating why, but I heard through the grapevine that it was just Genoa that didn't want Fostoria and that Eastwood suggested Maumee for some reason (possibly to cause the smaller schools to say no and give the bigger schools reason to withdraw). Also heard that the 3 schools desired for the smaller division (Cardinal Stritch, Northwood, and Ottawa Hills) had very little, if any interest for this setup, and that's why they resorted to asking Danbury. Apparently they also approved of Rossford and Fostoria, but not Maumee. We should find something to prove a definite statement, because I know hard feelings were created by folks in the current SLL and that doesn't need to be posted here. Just saying. By the way, don't be afraid to post on here, I'm no good at talking to myself! Frank12 (talk) 03:17, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
