Post playing career and spelling of first name[edit]

I pretty much have zero knowledge of cricket, but I'm wondering if the "Subroto Das" listed here as an umpire for a women's cricket match between India and Pakistan could be the same person. There's also a "Subroto Das" mentioned as being the head of the "women's selection sub-committee" in 2020 this The New Indian Express article, this The Avenue Mail article, and this Women's CricZone report. A Subroto Das" is also listed as an umpire in this Zee News article from 2013. Finally, could Das's first name possibly also be transliterated as "Subrata". There are also a number of Google hits for a cricketer named "Subrata Das". -- Marchjuly (talk) 13:19, 15 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No, the umpire is Subrat Das. StAnselm (talk) 21:25, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is made clear by looking at the Cricinfo page of the first match you linked to. StAnselm (talk) 21:45, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
But this person is indeed the head of women’s selection sub-committee.[1] StAnselm (talk) 21:47, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you StAnselm for looking at this. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:03, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
