comment[edit]

My doctoral thesis, nearing completion, is titled 'Material thinking in Art: subject, object and the subjectile'. My research developes the ideas proposed by Artaud's subjectile and Derrida's discussion of it. The case studies on artists from the canon focus on how the material properties of art objects inform the relationship between subject and object. I would like to develope the Wikipedia page further, but do not wish to delete the prior entry as edited by PBR0000 on 7 April 2010. However this entry contains inaccuracies and some statements are not corroborated by citations and/or sources. I would be happy to share ideas for improving the page. I will in due course add more material to the entry and make proposals for further editing and improvements. It would be helpful if other editors could do the same. I have improved the page and deleted an earlier entry that did not contain many verifications. I hope the additional sources and cross-references substantiate the entry. Tim Long Tim Long's website

At some point, the article actually has to tell the reader what a "subjectile" is. Otherwise this will be deleted for sure. Greg Bard (talk) 05:21, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
