Untitled[edit]

SPI certainly did have some assets when taken over by TSR. The company library, of some 5,000 volumes. Many of these were valuable military tomes, such as Jane's Fighting Ships for various years, many volumes of the Army's "Green Book" series and of other official histories, as well as numerous academic and popular accounts, technical works on equipment, atlases and maps, and more. There wa salso a large wargame library, and a substantial inventory of back issues, games, and game design materials. These were all packed up and shipped to TSR. --Al-Nofi (talk) 22:56, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleaning up[edit]

Back in 2014 the Essay-like, Peacocking, Overly-long, and One-source were removed from this article - for ZERO given reason. The article has thus remained in the abysmal state that it currently resides in. I understand that Greg Costikyan is a gamer - but in the scope of Wikipedia he is of precious little note. The meat of this entire article centers around this one minor individual, and peacocks his personal version of history as if it were factual.

I'm therefore culling a major portion of this article. TheWizardOfAhz (talk) 16:27, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
