Teague & Paradine[edit]

We must point out that Teague used only a portion of the 'freezing spell' on Paradine (leaving Paradine motionless, except for his eyes), so as Paradine could conciously experience being unable to move. GoodDay (talk) 18:12, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Frozen in Time Special Effect[edit]

Can someone please explain how they did "frozen in time" special effects in the old movies and TV shows like The Twilight Zone? It looks like people are just trying to hold their breath and remain motionless except that they do it extremely and uniformly well. I suppose it is possible to take a still photo of a scene and then film the action scene w/o the frozen people present and overlay the two film strips for the combined effect. However, most of the scenes I'm thinking of are too perfectly matched and the shadows and movements are too perfect. Can someone please provide a reference to a film / movie book or articles that explain the "frozen in time" special effect? Thank you. AdderUser (talk) 05:05, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
