McKale Center "Steeeeve Kerrrrr"[edit]

Anyone who remembers Steve's college career would remember the announcer and crowd shouting out the drawn out "Steeeeve Kerrrrrrrr" whenever he scored in McKale Center.

General manager position with the Suns[edit]

Steve Kerr did not replace Mike D'Antoni as GM of the Suns, D'Antoni was the coach. The GM that was replaced at this time was Bryan Colangelo who had left to become GM of the Toronto Raptors at this time:

Johnny Kerr[edit]

Is there any need to mention that he is not related to Johnny Kerr? Aside from being both good and white in the modern era, Steve won three championships with the Bulls, an organization with which Johnny is closely associated. Johnny Kerr was also responsible for bringing Sloan (as a player) to the Bulls, against whom Steve had the game and series winning shot in Sloan's first Finals appearance as coach. It just seems like the kind of thing that warrants mention, like how Jeana Yeager is not related to Chuck Yeager.

McCaw[edit]

McCaw didn't achieve the same feat. He won two in a row with the Warriors and then one with the Raptors. The feat mentioned is 2 wins with 2 different teams each, consecutively. So 4 wins total. McCaw has 3. Coolsharkymd (talk) 19:31, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I can understand the confusion but the article is correct. One sentence is about Kerr and Saul winning four consecutive championships. The other sentence is about consecutive championships with different teams, which also applies for McCaw. It is covered in the final paragraph of this article that is used as the fact's reference.
