History[edit]

The Stephentown mentioned in reference [1] seems to be for a different town. The Stephentown in the reference was in Westchester County in 1788. The article concerns a town in Rensselaer County which was formed from Albany County not Westchester. Humblehelper (talk) 15:53, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
