Unverified Content[edit]

There are a couple of removals that I made due to the fact that I was unable to verify the content.

  • False IDs found at the motel during the attempted arrest - A source was not cited for this information and I have not seen any reference to the IDs being in the room in any newspapers.
  • Abduction attempt of Sarah Pisan - KVAL reported that Morin asked Pisan to go out on a date with him, several times, but she declined/skipped. Pisan's book also stated that he asked her out for 4 months. While we can speculate that his intention was to abduct her, the actions taken do not necessarily reflect that.
  • Wallet belonging to Sarah Pisan - KVAL reported that inside Morin's wallet was 'Pisan's name and address' and on page 250 of Pisan's book she reports the same.

If a reference to the false IDs can be found it would be good to add it back. Pisan's experience with Morin is interesting but I think it would be better to add her as additional content under "Cheryl Ann Daniel" since they were friends. It would also be good to find an additional source supplementing Pisan, e.g. police statements, as I've been unable to find anything other than her recounting the story through her book, an ID TV episode, etc. TrueCrimeData (talk) 22:13, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Margy Palm Vanity Fair article and victim list inclusion[edit]

A new article (archived version) was published in Vanity Fair detailing Margy Palm's abduction and subsequent relationship with Morin. She goes into detail about the circumstances of his arrest and the origins of his faith. I'm trying to think of the right way to incorporate this information, but I'm also wondering why Palm isn't included as one of his victims? She did survive, but that doesn't seem like a criteria for inclusion. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Goodlucklemonpig (talk) 18:48, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
