GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
    Some concerns:
  • Infobox needs "Classification" field. Is she a regular, recurring, guest, etc.
  • "Stephanie "Steffy" Forrester is a fictional character from the American CBS Daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, portrayed by Jacqueline MacInnes Wood." Needs rewording. Perhaps, "Stephanie "Steffy" Forrester is a fictional character from the American CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. Created and introduced by Bradley Bell, she is currently portrayed by Jacqueline MacInnes Wood."
  • "Steffy and her twin sister Phoebe were born on-screen during the episode that aired September 21, 1999, as the daughters of supercouple Ridge and Taylor Forrester". Ill-worded and missing comma placement. Perhaps, "Steffy and her twin sister, Phoebe (MacKenzie Mauzy), were born onscreen during the episode airing on September 21, 1999 as the daughters of supercouple Ridge and Taylor Forrester (place actors' names here.)
  • "Until 2004, Steffy appeared as a minor, until her rapid aging to a teenager the following year. By 2008, Wood took over the now adult role." Perhaps, "For the character's first five-year period, she appeared as a minor, and was later rapidly aged to a teenager in 2005. In 2008, Steffy was rapidly aged again to an adult when Wood took over."
  • "Until 2003, the characters of Phoebe and Steffy were played by various sets of identical twins." Perhaps, "From 1999 to 2003, the characters of Steffy and Phoebe were portrayed by various sets of identical twin child actors."
  • "In April 2004, both roles were recast with Keaton and Kylie Rae Tyndall, leaving Steffy a product of SORASing." Shouldn't use "SORASing", use rapid aging or rapidly aged.
  • "In May 14, 2013, news broke that Wood had opted not to renew her contract with the show in order to take another break," Better to just say "In May 2013" to keep it in historical perspective.
  • I'm noticing a lot of issues with grammar. Has the article been thoroughly copy-edited? I would definitely suggest a request be made with the Guild for this one.
  • "Phoebe's death and romance with Rick". Change "romance" to "relationship".
  • "Although, the romance was short-lived." Perhaps, "However, the romance was short-lived."
  • In Reception, I find that quote box takes up half the section and crunches the rest of the text together. Anyway to make it smaller?
  • "Tommy Garret, writing for the website Highlight Hollywood," Given the source, Garret is in fact spelled Garrett. Put Highlight Hollywood in italics.
  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  • Looks fine; all of the sources are reliable and verifiable; good job.
  1. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
Fairly well covered as far as focus.
  2. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  3. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  4. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  5. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
Right now, I'm saying this article does not generally meet the GA criterion. However, I'm not officially failing the article, I will return after my concerns above have been addressed to give my overall verdict. Cheers, --Brick House 337 22:50, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've fixed all the issues. Also, I've placed a request with the Guild, so I think it will be thoroughly copy edited in a reasonable amount of time. One thing, seeing as Highlight Hollywood is a website, not journal or newspaper, I'm not sure it should be in italics? Did it anyway. Thankyou so much for taking the review Arre 06:31, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If you think Highlight Hollywood would be better not to be in italics, do with it as you please. I've made a few additional fixes. The article looks quite better now. Pass Cheers, --Brick House 337 16:30, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thankyou so much! I think this is the first B&B GA. :) Means a lot, thankyou once again for reviewing. Arre 06:12, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
