Mugging[edit]

"It is often used interchangeably with mugging, referring to a specific subcategory of that crime"

which is what?

article for mugging is directing here with "Mugging or mugger may refer to: * A type of street robbery: - Steaming (crime), a variation of this type of robbery" -- 83.19.211.198 (talk) 18:34, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not a good article[edit]

The second paragraph is only tangentially relevant. Also, the tube is not a particularly common place for this type of mugging compared to, say, suburban trains in South London and bendy buses. I don't know who wrote this, but it makes very little sense. 80.168.224.172 (talk) 02:17, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

'london underground and other urban transport systems' covers south london trains, doesnt it...?Jw2034 (talk) 19:51, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Steamers and Faregoers[edit]

Most wiki pages bear popular culture tags, so what about a link/byword to Manfrigg Robinson's 1995 bestseller: Steamers and Faregoers about weirdos, Aspies and those riddled with Narcissistic Personality Disorder who get kicks out of falling victim to, or being the center of, the more odder and bespoke crimes?

Also, what about a byword on the kindred manifestation of steaming as in: to steam into another, especially moreso group on group ie Morris dancers steaming Pearly Kings and Queens, Mods steaming Rockers, Hull Kingston Rovers steaming Hull outside the ground, Crows, Rooks and Jackdaws steaming Ravens, NPDies and Aspies steaming Psychopaths, and so forth? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.29.26.111 (talk) 01:48, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
