Information missing re: beheading[edit]
Several articles link here with regards to this act formally abolishing beheading as a form of capital punishment. See Capital punishment in the United Kingdom (Footnote 21) and Treason Act 1814 (Footnote 2). But there is no mention of this here. 68.146.70.124 (talk) 21:55, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
I don't know if a reference to the repeal of section 2 of the Treason Act 1814 would be enough to verify that. It seems to me that you also have to assert that there was no other enactment authorising that penalty and no common law power to use it. James500 (talk) 00:41, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
