I see a pattern

Articles like this, where finance intersects with law, tend to suffer. Why? Is it because much of the verifying coverage is barricaded behind walls such as subscription-only content and overlong papers using highly-technical diction? — Mr. Guye (talk) (contribs)  00:09, 26 July 2018 (UTC)

And Law articles in particular contain so much original research. IDK why.  — Mr. Guye (talk) (contribs)  00:12, 26 July 2018 (UTC)

@Mr. Guye: It is easy to prove a company is a state-owned enterprise with web content (if they are notable to have wikipedia article), they usually published annual report in their website. Some government had free company database such as Lux and UK, the concern was using them as WP:primary source. But in general, much of the academic journal and good book are not free, you have to live in library and/or have access to uni library academic journal subscription in order write a good article. But for improving this article State-owned enterprise (which is the true purpose of the talk page), what exactly you want to discuss? Matthew_hk tc 00:16, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
@Matthew hk: I was calling for expert attention. Sorry, I was doing a lot of things at once and I didn't realize how I sounded. — Mr. Guye (talk) (contribs)  00:20, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
