Curious[edit]

I've long been curious what the letter or ink was "made" of that caused the writing to appear when you got it wet. I've long heard of using lemon juice as "invisible" ink that appears when you heat it under a lamp, but if anyone knows what was done here it could be a good addition to the article. 76.202.58.168 21:11, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Immersive Letter in Virtual Console[edit]

Does anyone know what nintendo did in lieu of the the immersive letter for the virtual console release of star tropics?--66.167.248.131 (talk) 03:54, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Uncle Steve Letter[edit]

I don't know how to convert this, from BB code, for this site. But here is a scan I made of the letter attached to the Game Manual while it was wet. Too wet the text won't show to the scanner, as you can tell by how the bottom of the page looks, too dry and it disappears as you can see from missing letters.

The full text in invisible ink is, line for line.

I found some strange ciphers in my last voyage.

Since then, someone has been watching me! I put

a tiny transmitter in my shoe.

It's Frequency is 747MHz.

Perhaps I worry too much, but better to be safe

than sorry.

Since I am not a member please do not abuse my published IP information Hopefully someone can clean this information up and it will be a useful addition to the article. 66.214.210.137 (talk) 20:02, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

nintendo?[edit]

why isn't this on the nintendo franchise list, or mentioned on the list of nintendo characters list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.21.15.249 (talk) 16:38, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest you ask at the talk pages for those lists. Perhaps the people maintaining those articles know something we don't. Larrythefunkyferret (talk) 04:36, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Original Research or not true[edit]

The article states, "More often than not- however- the "Try-Your-Luck Signs" will take away lives." In my experience, I've gained lives more often than losing them. If anything, it's 50/50.129.139.1.68 (talk) 20:05, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nintendo Switch release[edit]

Nintendo Switch release does not include any digital alternative to the letter, and thus does I not provide any legitimate way for a player to complete the puzzle

I think it's wrong: the code is available here (America) and here (Europe). --valepert (talk) 09:52, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
