Starband residential usage is not unlimited. Users have a rolling 7-day bandwidth limit which I believe varies according to the selected service plan. 66.171.171.141 (talk) 21:27, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Starband allows unlimited downloads and uploads between the hours of 12 Midnight and 7 AM EST. Data usage during those hours does not count towards your rolling 7 day bandwidth cap. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.182.84.110 (talk) 03:24, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

dubious[edit]

"StarBand service is designed to provide a superior performance level and it is slightly less expensive than its WildBlue and HughesNet competitors." It sounds like it's saying that it was both designed to be superior to hughesnet and wild blue and it's cheaper. Also cheaper should be removed. Unless it was specifically made to be a budget competitor that's not anything that stands. As of right now Wild blue is the cheaper of the 3. Apparently excede 12 from wild blues parent company offers the most superior performance of satellite internet.

On a final note. Satellite internet was developed to be superior to pre-broadband internet services and not current high speed offerings.24.115.19.178 (talk) 03:34, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
