A World Wide perspective of a typically British structure. Is this someone with a 'bee in their bonnet' or is it just me? I need clarity to proceed with this tag. I saw these in current use as the base of an old barn in Ernen, Switzerland a few years ago, and I doubt this was a one-off. 92.4.65.57 (talk) 15:12, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Galician and Asturian horreos[edit]

In NW Spain the old granaries, called hórreos are buit on staddle stones too. In Galicia you will find more than 30,000 hórreos. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.111.155.172 (talk) 11:31, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
