RE: External Links being deleted repeatedly[edit]

I would like to come to an agreement regarding this page about my hometown, ST. VINCENT, MINNESOTA.

I notice that various users have repeatedly removed external links edits I have added. I assume it is because it may be that to those persons, they do not qualify for a proper external link.

My hometown is a tiny village with few resources. But it has a rich history. The first link is actually maintained by a member of the town council and is only named as an 'unofficial' town site because the town itself cannot afford one. But it is up to date with the current town leaders and a valid email in the contact link. The second link is an ongoing history of the town that many persons researching local and family history have found invaluable. Having it as a link on Wikipedia is valuable in ensuring those looking for such information will more easily find it.

Reference[edit]

In the geography section, when I clicked on the link [1] for "fur-trading outpost", it returned 404 - Page Not Found. Otr500 (talk) 19:58, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
