Reliable sources[edit]

@DhiluSen: A few times now you've removed the Unreferenced tag from this article and moved the Official website and Facebook links into the Referenced section. You also acknowledged (via a Thank) this rollback where I said "please do not remove the Unreferenced tag until reliable sources have been added". Please review that reliable sources link. The college's own website and Facebook page are primary sources, and are correctly located in the External links section. Links to Wikipedia articles such as List of Sree Narayana Institutions are also not references. An example of a reliable source would be a newspaper article discussing some information mentioned in this article. Please do not persist in removing the Unreferenced tag until qualifying reliable sources have been added. Nick Number (talk) 19:37, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Citiations has been included from other pages within wikipedia that point out to information about the institution. This is a relatively new institution and the only data available would be from other pages within wikipedia or the website of its subsidiary institution.

Regardless of how new the institution is, references need to be from reliable sources. Is there perhaps a newspaper article about its opening? Nick Number (talk) 19:49, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@DhiluSen: So, a few points about your most recent additions:
  1. In section headings, generally only the first word and all proper names are capitalized. So the V in Vision and the O in Offered should be lowercase.
  2. Citations should not be placed within or on the same line as section headings. The ref tags should be moved to the end of the sentence or paragraph they refer to.
  3. The citations you've added do not seem to meet the criteria for reliable sources. One appears to be a link to a commercial for the college. The helpuindia.com site is clearly promotional – it says "Promoting Your Business" right in the header. I'm not familiar with edugear.com, but at first glance it doesn't look to be more than a listing of press releases.
Can you please address the style issues and replace the references with links to reliable sources? Nick Number (talk) 15:52, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
