Yes, the transgender community is simply FASCINATED with mermaids. Why, every single transgendered person I know (which is none, but if I DID know one, I'm sure they would feel this way), is FASCINATED with this movie. "there has been no word"

This edit by AnimeDisneylover95 claims, "But as of 2019 there has been no word if the film started production."

(Side note: That is a sentence fragment. It is rather rare that an English sentence will start with a conjunction.)

Yes, you do not know of any additional developments. This does not mean there have not been any developments. Perhaps there was an article in a magazine you didn't see where the producer said the project was cancelled or that it was currently being written by Jane Smith or something else. The only "fact" here is that AnimeDisneylover95 has not read anything further.

Try this as a thought experiment: If you look, somewhere in my editing history, you will see me mentioning my niece's upcoming graduation in May 2017. However, you probably won't find anything saying that she graduated. Does this mean that "as of 2019 there has been no word"? No, it just mean you couldn't find any. You also won't find Steven King's Social Security number, discussion of me getting haircuts or responses to invites to my niece's graduation party. Does this mean King doesn't have a SSN, I've never had a haircut and there has been no word about who was coming to her party?

You can justify and argue "till the cows come home" but the last info regarding the Splash remake was back in 2016 that Jillian Bell and Channing Tatum were set to star in the remake. Flashing forward three years later, there has been ex-nay mention of the project and whether or not they will be starring in the remake.--AnimeDisneylover95 (talk) 15:55, 19 June 2019 (UTC)

Okay I found the most recent article from Indiewire regarding Jillian Bell's update that the remake will happen soon. But normally being attached to star in a film project that was announced 3-4 years would usually result in them changing the cast and/or crew if production hasn't started just like what happened that 8-9 years ago Shawn Levy was set to direct the remake for Fantastic Voyage but 4-6 later he's no longer attached.--AnimeDisneylover95 (talk) 16:07, 19 June 2019 (UTC)

Then stop giving me a personal attack/warning, I looked again before you posted once again, I found the source, I linked to where it came from:most recent article from Indiewire regarding Jillian Bell's update that the remake will happen soon And I'm not being the one who's "right" and "guessing" and judging by the comment you sounded Like "I didn't know anything" or "don't read" the comment. I'm sorry I made "personal attack" at you, I just am frustrated that you just came out of the blue and gave me a warning. I'm aware I need to find sources but at the same time it also can get frustrating that changes happen and very soon "sources will soon be invalid".
