"Spirit of Ecstasy" is the name of the hood ornament on Rolls-Royce cars.[edit]

No, it's not. It's the Spirit of Ecstacy. See Roll-Royce's website. This is in the same vein as the game being called Civilization and not Civilisation. --Veratien 21:58, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That is not the main RR website, and anyway it's wrong. Check any dictionary. There are other factual and spelling errors. See if you can spot them: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] etc. --Heron 19:36, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Available in silver?[edit]

"It is a misconception that the Rolls Royce mascots are made from solid silver. Over the years several different metals have been used, but never silver."

But the previous section states that it has been available in sterling silver or 24ct gold, as an option. Jason404 (talk) 13:10, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
