This last part of the (too short) History section is arguably false and thus is effectively spin in defense of spinners. It does not belong on Wikipedia except perhaps somewhere in a Controversy section or as an example of PR softening. I note also that it gives a shout-out to a political consultant (Joe Trippi), of whom I had not heard, so the sentence certainly succeeded as PR. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Encyclopedant (talk • contribs) 16:37, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
