Was it live action or animation?

After reading the first few paragraphs, I'm still unsure of what the skit was, exactly. I never saw The Electric Company as a kid, as it wasn't carried (as Sesame Street was) by CBC Television, so you can't assume a typical reader will know whether it was live action or animation, unless it's specifically stated in the first paragraph, preferably in the first line. This is especially confusing:

Unlike other live-action and cartoon productions of Spider-Man, The Electric Company's version of the web-slinging hero communicates only in word balloons because he is drawn without a mouth.

From this I could guess it was animated, since it mentions him being drawn, but it was called a skit in the intro paragraph, and the above line says "unlike other live-action," which leads me to believe it could be a live-action skit. Very confusing. Kaijan 16:43, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Just as an aside to the above discussion, the CBC did air The Electric Company at one point. I recall seeing it on weekday afternoons. 23skidoo 17:24, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Unlisted villains

Messy Thinking (talk) 02:52, 24 November 2008 (UTC) I seem to recall that the Stomper and Queen of Hearts were among Spidey's foes. One dressed in a strange Robin Hoodish outfit with Ryan Stiles shoes while the other dressed as her playing card namesake. (How did she manage to get around in that outfit?)

Rationale for trivia tag

Ill start a new section in response to the earlier post from a while back. If we ever get confused about how much detail to put in an article, here's a good benchmark: are the details you've added referenced from independent sources? in other words, is there enough interest in the subject matter to inspire a magazine article, book, documentary film, etc that goes into such detail? I'm not saying we shouldnt ever include details that are not referenced like this, as after all the episodes themselves qualify as sources for this material. there is no question that they exist and contain all this detail, as all tv shows do. The dividing line between fan sites and WP is simply: do enough people care enough to have written about it OTHER than here or a blog, etc. I would say that many of the details here are nonnotable, and really belong on a fansite. where to draw the line: I dont know yet, but it would be nice to see anyone else who takes even a momentary interest in this article think about it, write something here, and even be bold and edit it. I wont yet, i just discovered this article (its been tagged a looong time), and its not like WW3 will start if i dont trim it back. And where are the references?
