Is this page necessary?[edit]

After creating this page, I became uncertain about its appropriateness. Perhaps it would be better off in Wikisource. I would appreciate any input. FactoidCow 05:15, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It needs to have more discussion of the orders: context, related orders, precedents established, etc. RJFJR (talk) 16:21, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The relevant context already exists at Sherman's March to the Sea, including an excerpt of the orders. I propose moving this page to Wikisource and replacing it with a redirect to the appropriate section of Sherman's March to the Sea. I'm not sure what the process for doing that is, though.
