Talk:Spanish Train and Other Stories

"Spanish Train", it might be mentioned, is referenced by name in de Burgh's later "The Devil's Eye" by none other than the cheater himself. Wonder what fans in Johannesburg made of that line.

Cover[edit]

Is the cover shown (Spanishtraincover.jpg) the original one? My UK A&M LP has a much plainer, black cover. AdorableRuffian 22:59, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The cover shown is the original, but I think it's taken from the CD re-release. On the record it's much easier to see that the little thing on the bottom with smoke coming out of it is a train. -Annon3
The cover shown was, as far as I know, only ever used for the Canadian release. The UK (and the rest of the world it seems) had to make do with the Artist and album title in white on a black background. --Nathlowe 17:53, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Spanishtraincover.jpg[edit]

Image:Spanishtraincover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:27, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is the rationale for including a link to the 'problem of evil' in the 'see also' section? It doesn't appear relevant to any song of this record? Sejtam (talk) 09:42, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
