Accident and Emergency[edit]

In the info box against 'Emergency Department' it says 'Yes Accident and Emergency'. This is technically incorrect, the department is not referred to as an A&E, it is simply an Emergency Department. My understanding is that the 'accident' name has been removed to try and dissuade people from turning up with a grazed shin etc.

I can't see how to edit this info though...?

For reference by other editors, yes it is just called the Emergency Department at this hospital. However, the addition of "Accident & Emergency" for UK hospitals is built into Template:Infobox hospital and cannot be removed from individual articles at this point. This section has been edited twice by UHSComms (talk) - the user's only contributions to Wikipedia. Does this pose a conflict of interest and should their edits be revoked? Zen78 (talk) 12:26, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Tag removed. I don't see where the issue is with the section as it stands some 6 months later. If anyone wishes to replace it, feel free but please be more specific on this talk page about where you believe the section is at fault. Keri (talk) 12:39, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
