Route template improvements[edit]

The route diagram should be more uniform with the existing lines, particularly the Rock Island. Possible features could include Metra Electric/Amtrak Carbondale+NoLa service passing beneath the route between 115th and Dolton, the Cardinal trackage shared with the SES, the planned Red Line transfer at Michigan Ave., and the possible extension to the South Suburban Airport (noted in the cost benefit analysis report) along with physical features such as waterways and highways. I started making some edits myself using the top of the Rock Island diagram, but quickly ran into problems (and decided to seek feedback.) Please let me know.
