Sound-alike record companies[edit]
We should have articles about sound-alike record companies linked to this article. I believe Pickwick has been mentioned already. What about the 1950s Bell Records from New York? Needs Division into Separate Articles[edit]
This article combines two unrelated subjects that are related only by name. "Sound-alike" voice overs are dubs needed by the film industry and are a behind-the-scenes technique with no real question of legitimacy, whereas Sound-alike records have a coherent history and encompasses a large legacy that deserves to be explained under separate cover.
