Latest recipient?[edit]

I see at least three different "latest recipients" in this article. Anyone want to clear this one up? --Scottie theNerd 01:47, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Soldier's Medal is a medal with some prestige, as it is the highest non-combatant bravery award the Army has, but it is not an uncommon award. There are at least several dozen awards per year. So there is no point in having a "latest recipient" listed, as it will be constantly out of date. I am removing, pending rethinking how this article should be rewritten. I agree. The "latest recipient" portion is already outdated. Should be removed entirely. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ink170 (talkcontribs) 08:26, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Category[edit]

I've created a category for recipients here, and redirected the list of recipients to this article. Everyone who was on the list, and whose article confirms they were awarded it, has been added - since there were no citations on the list, I felt it best to look for some confirmation.
