Do we have any evidence he ever lived in Greece?[edit]

It appears he lived in Crete when it was under the control of the Ottoman Empire and later lived in Egypt. I am not seeing any evidence he ever lived in Greece. As such, I am thinking he should not be in categories that state the the country he was a national or subject of was Greece.John Pack Lambert (talk) 18:02, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
