Buyouts

Softbank purchasing 70% of Sprint Stock http://www.cnbc.com/id/49408877. $8 billion USD directly to Sprint with $12 billion USD in buyouts of stock from stock holders. I added in the trivia about Cameron Diaz because I didn't know the proliferation of western celebrities endorsing local services/products, although all along Japan has a vast number of local celebrities, as well as to some extent, protectionism for media etc. sehsuan (talk) 13:02, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
