Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Breda Meccanica Bresciana be mergerd into Società Italiana Ernesto Breda, because it is silly having two article on essentialyy the same thing.--Petebutt (talk) 12:28, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Don't merge, on the grounds that the company did not just change its name in the 1990s, but split into different entities. So, parts of Società Italiana Ernesto Breda became AnsaldoBreda, others Breda Meccanica Bresciana, and others Istituto Scientifico Breda. It therefore seems reasonable to keep the page for the now-dissolved company, as it is difficult to determine which the current company pages it should be merged with.
