Allegations of a coup.[edit]

While the crisis eventually led to an acceptance of the lawful transfer of power, the circumstances around the resignation of Morales is accepted by a significant part of analysts and media as at least an alleged coup. Ip says: Work Better yes. (talk) 02:09, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Since phrasing on this issue is divisive, I try to word things carefully. Instead of "after the alleged coup," I'd say "after what Morales and his supporters alleged as a coup" or something to that effect. One sentence points you in a pretty clear direction while the other leaves more up for interpretation. To avoid constant edits, perhaps we can come up with a reasonable sentence structure in the talk page first. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 15:44, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Well it is not just an internal allegation, and your country does show a clear pattern in regards to the political landscape of Bolivia. I would be very careful to to phrase a regime change just as a crisis without at least an impartial "alleged". And removal of my edit after I opened the discussion on this talk page is not very constructive, wouldn't you say?

Fair point, I made a change which hopefully rectifies this by including the coup claims made by MAS. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 20:29, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As it stands now I'm satisfied. Ip says: Work Better yes. (talk) 22:38, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
