A few news reports from 1982 report the wrong points total for Reardon, e.g. The Guardian, Hull Daily Mail and Western Daily Press (19 May) all credit him with 11 points. The totals in the article's table, as reported in the June 1982 issue of Snooker Scene, appear to tally with the actual results and points tariff.
