POGS Tournament[edit]

Somebody is repeatedly adding a comment about a 1996 Pogs tournament. There is no way that the comment is going to be allowed to remain in the article. It is ridiculously trivial (ie, it doesn't meet notability guidelines) and there is no reference, so there's no reason to believe that it's true. PKT(alk) 21:27, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Defensible lockmaster's houses[edit]

What are the lockmasters' houses defensible against? Water or foreign foes? Note where the apostrophe should be. --Oldontarian (talk) 09:42, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Foreign foes, specifically American. Lt. Col. John By thought these were insufficent so he had four blockhouses built "of his own accord" since the Board of Ordnance felt they (blockhouses) were too expensive. The four still stand at Merrickville, The Narrows, Newboro, and Kingston Mills. The one at Merrickville is the largest and is now a museum. Dger (talk) 10:02, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Statcan Info incorrect[edit]

To whomever edits this page, the population numbers that are said to be from statics Canada are incorrect, you need to revisit the statscan website and get the correct numbers and then use the website as a reference when it is correct. See link below
