The play, and each film adaptation is its own seperate entity, and each deserve their own page. This would also clear up any confusion between the different versions, as I have experienced in my work with the yearly list of American films.Eaglebreath (talk) 22:53, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Go ahead and separate them! Something like: Smilin' Through (play), Smilin' Through (1927 film), and so on. I suggest that you leave "Smilin' Through" as a dsambiguation page for the other four articles. Markhh (talk) 04:24, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
