Lead[edit]

  • While working on her EP -> the is more proper  Done
  • she chose to enlist the help of producer Bangladesh so that she could give her music a tougher edge -> Better choice of wording available. Also, is he known for being touch?  Done
  • Lyrically, the song talks about rich guys hitting on her that try to buy her attention. -> I know you can do better  Done
  • deadbeat father and also his relationship with Kesha -> what's the connection? Any mention who the child is? Its too vague  Done
Partially done, i changed to friendship but his whole verse is just stupid, i went with what the source called it i cant elaborate further, sentence does its job fine. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me -
  • that draws similar influence to the songs of -> confusing  Done

Background[edit]

  • Is there a smaller picture of Andre available? That section break truly annoys me. Maybe you can crop it, honestly a third of the photo is black  Done
  • While working on her album, Cannibal, -> we already established it's her album  Done
  • Bangladesh. Bangladesh  Done
  • In the lead, instead of writing vague terms like tougher, just quote "more gangster"  Not done
Not a fan of quotes in the lead because they are suppose to need sources, which is completely contradictory. Both sentences get their points across. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me -
Then use more encyclopedic wording.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 03:44, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • to Rap-Up how -> Rap-Up  Done
  • a verse for the song. "I sent -> a verse for the song: "I sent  Done
  • André 3000 was "one of my favorite musicians -> is Done

Composition[edit]

  • rich men -> professional writing please; wealthy, affluent etc.  Done
  • Vocally, the song follows previous singles footsteps -> you lost me there  Done
  • The last sentence of the first paragraph needs tightening and is confusing. Re-read it aloud and you'll understand  Done
  • The sample could use a better description, and should be sourced  Not done
Source is in the composition, not needed here as its not something likely to be argued. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me -
Sample needs appropriate punctuation.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 03:44, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Link PopMatters  Done
  • Pop Matters however, -> Pop Matters, however,  Done
  • Bill Lamb noted -> who's he?  Done
  • noted on Bangladesh's production that it -> weird wording  Done
  • What relationship are you implying? Sexual, professional?  Done

Reception[edit]

  • called "Sleazy" "apropos" -> I'm not sure what that means, and I'm not sure what you linked it to either  Not done
The link is to different meanings of the word, in this use it means "Very appropriate to a particular situation", basically it means she gets her point across well. Thats why it is linked. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 03:16, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Link MTV  Done
  • She didn't meet the song  Done

  • Re-order the Canada sentence  Done
  • Avoid choppy sentences  Done

References[edit]

  • Several news cites do not use the cite news template; #s 8, 10, and many are missing publishers; #s 3, 4. Lastly, you should link only first time with references. That's all. Good luck, you have one week.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 00:34, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Not a GA issue. I use cite "web" for all cites other than press released and album notes because of ongoing issues on which are to be used, some cause MOS issues so i stick with web for consistency and easier formatting. Other than that all issues have been addressed. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 03:16, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
CK, they need different templates.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 03:42, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
"[[Template:Cite web|This template is used to cite online sources in Wikipedia articles. {{Cite news}} can also be used when citing a news source; for general information about citations in Wikipedia articles, see Wikipedia:Cite sources.]]" Both are acceptable, i use cite web, not news. This isn't even a FA issue as there are many different ways to format. All GA issues now addressed. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 04:09, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Last things[edit]

  • There is some information lacking in the background section, including: official release date, label, A-side and formet. That should be explained somewhere other than the infobox, and backed by references. I think that's the last of them, but I'll have a last look after.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 12:56, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
