This article is a total mess[edit]

I’m going to work at cleaning it up, especially translating from the Spanish article on the subject (whose Spanish is not easy). deisenbe (talk) 11:17, 9 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I noticed what appeared to be a minor problem with the citation for The Slave Trade: The Story of the Atlantic Slave Trade: 1440-1870 and decided to fix it, but discovered multiple issues. The citation specified both the 10th edition & a 1997 publication date. Trouble is, that’s the 1st edition. It also gives Simon & Schuster as the publisher, but the 1997 edition was published by Picador. Finally, it doesn’t specify where in the book the information comes from. Not having a copy of the book, I couldn’t figure out which edition is correct, nor could I add the pertinent page or chapter. I left it as “1997, Picador”, but someone with access to one or the other edition should check that the relevant info is in there and add the location info (and change the year & publisher if needed). Hey, I am not sure of where to report this, but since you are cleaning it up...source number 2, for the slave population of Spain and all that...is a chemical engineering textbook, so we may want to remove it and mark the paragraph as citation needed Cateyed (talk) 04:50, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Edit the article[edit]

Hello, I have written an entire article on the history of slavery in Spain. If there is a mistake or a topic that needs to be added, help me with that. Crownbiean12x (talk) 23:30, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
