Refs etc[edit]

Hi Loninappleton. I made a few tweaks. You can't use a Wikipedia article as a reference (The_Brig_(play)). Wikipedia isn't considered a Reliable Source, referencing Wikipedia is CIRCULAR. However you can copy any of the references from that article to here, if you find them useful. It helps if you place your references after the sentence or paragraph they support. I did this for the New York Times review. If that reference provides support for additional sentences, you can have it appear on those sentences by using <ref name="TimesReview"/>. To move your other references into the article, the simple method is to go to the end of the sentence and add: <ref>SIMPLY COPY YOUR CURRENT REFERENCE DESCRIPTION</ref>. If you want to use the reference in more than one place write <ref name="MAKE_UP_A_NAME">REFERENCE DESCRIPTION</ref>, then re-use it on another sentence with <ref name="MAKE_UP_A_NAME"/>. If you want to make nicer refs, click the CITE option near the top of the editor. Put the mouse at the end of the sentence, click TEMPLATES, and select an appropriate one. It will ask for title, author, link, and other information. Fill in whatever you can.

We have a how-to page Help:Referencing_for_beginners if you want to learn more. Alsee (talk) 09:44, 11 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
