Well-written:

The article references several reputable sources. With the concerns on citations expressed below having been addressed and explained, I am confident there is no original research or otherwise unverifiable claims incorporated into the text. "Minerve had become an important place of refuge for Cathar perfectus, which seems to have influenced Simon's decision to attack the city, as it was not of major strategic importance." It might just be me, but as it's written I'm having trouble understanding that last part of the statement. If Minerve being a place of refuge for Cathar perfectus was not of major strategic importance, per se, then why was it considered an influence on Simon's decision?

Maybe I could try to rephrase this in a day or two when I get more time. Basically, it wasn't very important in military terms, but Simon just wanted to capture and convert heretics. That helps a great deal; as I noted in the summary to my own recent edit, the choice of wording prior to the additional context was of a more encyclopedic style; only the additional context was required. The rest of the article looks fine; with a few exceptions I usually have already read a nomination's text in full before I start pointing out things like this. :) Says the 21st century, "I'm 18 and I like it!" I personally don't see the need to cite the same source twice in a row. The source is Marvin 2009 p. 78, which comes after the next sentence. Both sentences are to the same source, and I don't see why we need to repeat. Display name 99 (talk) 15:06, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
