Proposed merge of Crew calling[edit]

I'm not convinced this is a good idea. Ship earth station is an article about a piece of technology. Crew calling is as much related to social sciences as it is technology. I also think that the "crew calling" article is capable of being expanded. There are certainly some sources out there discussing it [1][2][3]. SpinningSpark 18:24, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I saw that Crew calling said it was all about one use of satellite radio facilities, hence a good fit for merging two small articles. Since two editors disagree with me in the space of a month, that's the end unless someone else speaks up for it, umm, within a week, okay? And no, I don't intend to go hunting for pro-merger editors.
