Real name[edit]

If Shelley Conn was born in Sri Lanka, then it's almost certain that Shelley Conn is not her real name. Does anyone have that information? If her real name IS Conn, is it possible she is of jewish descent?Colin marks (talk) 21:26, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it certain? I think it is likely you know nothing about Sri Lanka. It's very multicultural. 94.8.21.89 (talk) 15:42, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, it's not almost certain, to tell the truth. Due to British colonization, there are quite a few natives of Sri Lanka who have Anglo-sounding names. And since she's of mixed ancestry, that makes it even more likely that it IS her real name. Also, do not understand where the Jewish part of your claim came from. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.53.231.3 (talk) 01:52, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's conjecture based on Conn/Cohn being a Jewish name. I have also removed the blog you had added as a reference. Blogs are not reliable sources per WP:RS. – ukexpat (talk) 19:18, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

For Love Alone credit[edit]

It seems unlike that Shelley Conn actually appeared in this film. She doesn't seem to be in the credits. How can she play Leo's girlfriend if she was 9/10 years old at the time? Why would an English child actress be in an obscure Australian film? And why would that have been her only role until 2000? None of it makes sense

Indeed, the character of "Leo's girlfriend" in For Love Alone was played by Naomi Watts. I've deleted this unsourced "credit".--Muzilon (talk) 09:01, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
