I'd help if I can locate my old Mastika magazine that had an interview with her son. In it he talked about what happened to his mother since she was exiled to her return and it was in insightful reading Linkinstreet (talk) 07:26, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Present at the funeral were some prominent politicians including the deputy president of Parti Keadilan Rakyat, Syed Husin Ali, and Democratic Action Party Member of Parliament, Tony Pua."

I think this is just the writer wanting to make as if only the opposition party was interested in her.
