– Per WP:AIR/NC, the manufacturer's name should be included in the title. Also for consistency with other HESA-built Shahed aircraft, such as the HESA Shahed 136, HESA Shahed 278, and HESA Shahed 285. • Maybe it should be named HESA Gaza. From what I understood, the aircraft's official name seems to be "Gaza". "Shahed 149" was an older name only used before its unveiling. "Shahed" was initialy added to the title by ZLEA for consistency. No longer needed if we use HESA. - Hosortyr (talk) 21:22, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - The claim that the Shahed 149 is manufactured by HESA is unsourced. Possibly HESA is more like a holding company that owns the manufacturer (Shahed Aviation). I don't think we should move the page to an unusual/rare name based on an uncited claim. We should use the common name for the article. And given that some reliable sources treat Shahed Aviation as the manufacturer, "Shahed 149" or "Shahed 149 Gaza" would be consistent with WP:AIR/NC. A name of [Manufacturer 1] [Manufacturer 2] [Designation] is inconsistent with WP:AIR/NC and gives an idiosyncratic name for these drones not in common use.
