Nonsensical sentence in introductory paragraph?[edit]

The final sentence of the introductory sentence reads "Assuming that the letter is authentic, it was written after Dion was assassinated by Calippus in 353 BC and before he was in turn overthrown a year later." So the letter was written after Dion was assassinated but before he was overthrown? So Dion ruled for a while as a corpse? Obviously there has been a typographical error or omission here. good summary[edit]

no idea who wrote this summary but it was easier to understand than the actual letter, good job 2804:431:C7E3:593A:A4FC:48F1:4064:7052 (talk) 00:18, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

computer analysis[edit]

I have not read "R. Ledger, Re-counting Plato: A Computer Analysis of Plato's Style (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 1989)" nor have the book, to go to pages 148-50, but what is the computer analyzing? Handwriting style, ink sourcing similarity (chemical analysis), etc etc.

"computer analysis" is congruent to "instrument analysis". What were they computing? Langadakis (talk) 23:56, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
