Article Organization Ideas[edit]

I've noticed this article is lacking some organizational structure that could make help strengthen the main ideas. I think some sections could be combined and some sections need to be created. Here is a rough outline of article sections that I thought might help.

I. Introduction

II. Sequential Bilingual Acquisition

-Modes of Acquisition

-Relevant Theories

III. Achieving Linguistic Competence with Sequential Language Acquisition

-Achieving competence of native speakers

-Dominant vs Balanced Bilinguals

-Grammatical vs Communicative competence

IV. Majority vs Minority Languages (This might belong under a different section rather than being its own section)

V. Success Factors for L2 Acquisition

VI. Obstacles in L2 Acquisition

Let me know what you think of these sections and if you have any other ideas!

That looks great to me! I was also thinking about the Majority and Minority Languages section- it seems kind of out of the place, maybe if we added a section called "Considerations" or something we could put that under there (as well as talk about the critical period there instead of dispersing it throughout?)
