Center-sensei[edit]

Just a note to Juhachi that Center-sensei (センター先生) is the intended character name that is used in both credits and the Crunchyroll subtitles, as opposed to just simply Center. While it is true that honorifics are normally left out for characters, namely because they have full titles or can have different honorifics based on who they interact with, some characters are identified by their honorifics in more literal terms, other examples including Assassination Classroom's Koro-sensei and Hidamari Sketch's Ume-sensei, since one is a pun and the other is a character based on Aoki Ume. This may change if the anime were to somehow get an English dub and be called something like Mr. Center, but as of now, the -sensei part is part of his identity and should not be left out. Can we note the similarity? Consoles are not exactly operating systems, but this is clearly part of a larger phenomenon where there are human girl personifications of technological tools, just not sure what to call it. It's a sub-category of the broad concept of anthropomorphization though. 184.145.18.50 (talk) 21:52, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
