It's not mentioned (tho perhaps it should be), here, Irish 24h GA met a Fed Irish rgt, the 69h NY (later 27th "New York" Inf Div). Trekphiler 08:49, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Move?[edit]

Shouldn't this page be renamed to Second Battle of Fredericksburg to be more consistent with the other ACW articles, like the naming of Second Battle of Chattanooga and so on? If there is no objection I'll move it there in a few days. Kresock (talk) 01:37, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And absolutely the correct thing to do. CsikosLo (talk) 18:49, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changed references[edit]

I added the NPS battle summary and changed the first one, which had been erroneously attributed to the NPS, to the correct source. The link, of course, stayed the same. CsikosLo (talk) 19:07, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Virtually all the ACW article use the expression "National Park Service battle description" because NPS hosts the site and CWSAC is not a defined abbreviation anyone outside our community would recognize. Hal Jespersen (talk) 21:05, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
