Scottish Terrier and Dog News[edit]

I re-added the external link to the Scottish Terrier and Dog News, which is my own website. This site has beenup and running for one month with daily Scottie news.

While the link was originally removed by Veinor for being unencyclopedic, I think it is not at all a typical blog site, in the sense of a personal blog, and should therefore be restored.

Of course, I am in a conflict of interest so I leave the final decision to others, but I would like to suggest that they ask whether, the link is in the best interest of readers before simply excluding it.

Thank you, Boisblaireau

--> I'm with you I think Scottish Terrier and Dog news should be here. Louiseann76

names keep changing[edit]

Sometimes it's called Scottie, other times Scottish Terrier. It keeps jumping back and forth. Anyone agree with me that it should be the same throughout? Member - Society of Dog Lovers 21:13, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, it is standard writing practice to do this as it adds variety and prevents monotony. Boisblaireau/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Boisblaireau (talkcontribs) 11:23, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The change of the standard name from "Scotch Terrier" to "Scottish Terrier" may want to be adressed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.110.90.133 (talk) 19:54, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Scottish Terrier Companionship[edit]

A scottie named Boogles was a family member of a household in South Africa for 11 years. There is a saying indicating a scottie dog is a heartbeat at your feet. Boogles was always there never far away from his humans. Scotties are great family pets and although stubborn there is no end to their loyal nature. Vlam2 (talk) 21:43, 28 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
