Last name

Reference for the idea that Schroeder's LAST name is Klein, please, I remember that somebody quoting Schulz said that Schroeder's LAST name was Schroeder and his FIRST name was unrevealed. Theodore W. 21:37, 28 July 2005 (UTC)

Based on this, I am changing the article: "Schroeder was named after a young boy with whom I used to caddy at Highland Park golf course in St. Paul. I don't recall ever knowing his first name, but just 'Schroeder' seemed right for the character in the script, even before he became the great musician he now is." What do you think Schroeder's 1st name is? Was it ever referenced?

Duplicate Information

Under 'Schroeder's Piano', this bit about his bust collection is mentioned:

On another occasion Lucy, armed with a baseball bat, smashed to pieces a bust of Beethoven sitting on top of his piano; Undaunted, Schroeder calmly picked out a new bust from a closet well-stocked with duplicates.

I believe that this should be removed on two grounds: 1. This has little to do with the piano, other than the fact that the bust was on-top. 2. This information was already mentioned under 'History' as

As revealed in one strip wherein Lucy took his bust of Beethoven and smashed it, he has an entire closet full of Beethoven busts.

Schroeder and Sally

The section called Relationship with Sally Brown should be rewritten or removed because it doesn't have any references and the style isn't completely neutral or appropriate in a dictionary. It's propably also based (at least partially if not completely) on original research. Are there actually any proof (based on the strips) about some "feelings" between Schroeder and Sally? Schroeder and Beethoven

I play the piano, and can say very often I noticed the music notes Schroeder plays are exact copies of the Beethoven's piano sonatas score. I can't say it is always true, nor if other authors music is used... so don't know how to mention this in the main article --Aldoaldoz (talk) 07:42, 6 December 2013 (UTC)

Pronunciation?

Does there happen to exist a "correct" pronunciation of this character's name, "Schroeder"?

(There may not be any correct one; it may have never been specified.)

For some people with this name, their preferred pronunciation is SHROE-dur; for other people their preferred pronunciation is SHRAY-dur.

Perhaps his name was pronounced in some of the TV specials or other animations involving Peanuts characters?

If someone knows the answer, I hope they will include it in the article.
