Something could be added in about their young preferring mangroves for shelter (over seagrass beds), as per pp. 197-212 of Volume 402 of the Marine Ecology Progress Series "Role of mangroves as nurseries for French grunt Haemulon flavolineatum and schoolmaster Lutjanus apodus assessed by otolith elemental fingerprints" SirTheta (talk) 04:44, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
